"The TDI unit powering the Audi RS5 TDI Concept is a twin-turbo 3.0 liter V6 featuring equipped with an additional electric turbocharger. Theoretically, the electric turbo (E-Lader) force feeds the engine until the conventional turbos build up enough boost to take over, thus eliminating the turbo lag.
Using this system, Audi engineers have managed to extract 385 horsepower and 750 nm of torque. Those numbers seem especially impressive when you realize the average fuel consumption is under 5 liter per 100 km."
